Hi everyone! I hope your all having a good Monday so far and that the weekend comes quickly! I have a pretty busy week ahead of me filled with homework and exams. Doesn’t that sound fun? I know..it totally does! What are you up to this week?
And thanks to all of you that left a comment on my previous post with your running tips, they’re all so helpful! :)
Today I’ve got another review for you! I’m going to be reviewing Kay’s Naturals Protein Cereal, the French vanilla flavor!
I bought a couple of one-serving protein cereal bags a few months ago and love them! I love topping my yogurt with the cereal, having some with almond milk or using it as an oatmeal mix-in. This cereal is also great on it’s own and makes a perfect snack!
Each bag of protein cereal has 100 calories, is gluten free and has no trans fat! Not only is it a great source of protein (9 g of lean soy protein per serving) but it also has 3 g of dietary fiber. It has all natural ingredients and only 3 g of sugar.
This cereal doesn’t have an aftertaste and has just the right amount of vanilla flavor in it.
Other protein cereal flavors include: Apple Cinnamon and Honey Almond. I haven't tried the honey almond flavor yet, but I heard good things about it. I have tried the Apple Cinnamon one though, and its also a great tasting flavor. They also have a wide selection of other food items such as protein pretzels, protein chips and protein cookies.
I recommend these to everyone that is looking to get some more protein into their diet and for those of you that are looking for a great gluten free cereal. Even though I’m not gluten free, I enjoy eating this cereal.
For all of you that live overseas like me, you can order all the Kay’s Naturals products at Netrition. For those of you that don’t live overseas and would like to order from the Kay’s Naturals website, you can use this code tweet30 to save some money!
