Good morning everyone! Or good night or afternoon, depending where you are and what time you’re reading this. I hope you are all having a great week so far!
I skipped WIAW last week due to a much needed break from the virtual world, but I’m back with some yummy eats this week. :) I’ve been enjoying a lot of healthy (and yummy!) food with sweet treats here and there.
Thanks to Jenn for hosting. And as always, I’m going to be sharing some recent eats from the past couple of days.
Recent Post Workout Smoothie: frozen raspberries and strawberries, spinach, cocoa powder, protein powder, coconut flour, one banana, water and skim milk. Topped with chocolate granola.
Recent Lunch: Grilled cheese (lactose free) sandwich on whole wheat bread, with a side of carrots. Plus, lots of unpictured PB to eat my carrots with.
Recent Breakfast: Scrambled eggs (1 egg, 4 egg whites) and two pieces of whole wheat toast topped with creamy peanut butter.
Recent Snack: A banana with peanut butter.
Recent Lunch: Whole wheat noodles with peas, one hardboiled egg white and marinara sauce.
Recent Dessert: Ritter Sport special edition chocolate, waldbeer joghurt flavor.
Recent Snack: An apple with peanut butter.
Ask Your Questions
I want to do another Q&A vlog so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask! You can send me an e-mail, leave a comment on this post, send me a message on Facebook or tweet me on Twitter. The questions don’t have to be blog or food related either.
I’m looking forward to reading all your questions and filming another vlog! :)

Hmmm I'm not really sure what questions to ask, but loving the eats! Waldbeer Joghurt looks so cool! I googled it (haha). Maybe you could talk about the difference in the way people eat and what they eat in Germany/America? :)
ReplyDeleteThis noodle bowl looks so good, their from Aldi, right? Bought those, too, they're soooo yummy :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know if you have ever tried the new German Protein-Bread/Eiweißbrot? I would also really love to hear you say something in German in your Vlog :)
Have a great day Shannon :)
Your eats look sooo delicious.
ReplyDeletePersonally I don't like yoghurt flavoured/filled chocolate that much, but I really like RitterSport chocolate in general.
Since I'm from Germany I totally love Bec's question and would also like to know about the main differences you noticed between Germans and Americans.
And is there something you like better in Germany than in America (concerning the food, the supermarkets,...) or are there any foods you didn't know before, that you discovered in Germany and that are hard to find (or that you just don't have) in the US?
your peanut butter looks so light! i wonder if that is a difference of pb in germany? or is it a special kind?
ReplyDeleteYour post workout smoothie sounds delicious! Making a note to try your combination!

Everything here is so pinnable, your eats look amazing - as always! How do you do it???
ReplyDeleteBut onto other questions: I guess I'd love to hear all about your college plans and Germany vs. US for the academic debate (and why you chose what you did). Also, what you're thinking of majoring in/doing afterwards...
xx,
LLE
Loving the egg scramble, glad your back!

ReplyDeleteOh my, everything looks SO yummy! But the bread on your grilled cheese sandwich especially called to me - the crust looks dynamite! Glad you're back this week :)
ReplyDeleteLove all the eats, as usual :)
ReplyDeleteQuestion: what was/is your biggest fear food and have you overcome it yet?
all of your eats look delicious -especially that pasta bowl!
ReplyDeletehow many days a week do you work out (and how many are strength/cardio?)?
I must try your recovery smoothie asap - sounds decadent but nutritious/filling :)
ReplyDeleteOh Ritter chocolate - I would buy it more often if it wasn't so dang expensive.
I can't think of any questions but I'm definitely looking forward to your vlog! And I absolutely LOVE the amount of peanut butter that appears in this post :)
ReplyDeleteYummm... I love how you top your smoothies too, they are so much better that way! That breakfast with the scambled eggs looks so good! I usually use the microwave to cook my eggs in the morning, but they don't look that good!
ReplyDeleteThat chocolate looks tasty and snacky!
ReplyDeleteI have been loving nut butter like crazy too! All of your snacks look delicious- especially the chocolate granola! How have you been feeling with the lactose cut out? I'm considering cutting it out for a week as well just to try; yogurt seems to be giving me a bit of intolerance lately:(
ReplyDeleteYour cheese looks so melty! I thought non-lactose chease was always kind of a glop, but I guess not, huh?
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Ritter Sport... sounds perfect though. I'm going to be scouring America for it. :)
ReplyDeleteYour post work out smoothie looks great! Thanks for sharing. :-)
ReplyDeleteBanana with peanut butter + your smoothie = an ideal breakfast :D
ReplyDeleteCheers
Choc Chip Uru
MM all your eats look so good; especially liking the look of the chocolate granola on the top of your smoothie! And peanut butter is always a good choice!
ReplyDeleteThis all looks delicious, I want that smoothie with all of those amazing looking toppings!!
ReplyDeleteQuestions would be: how do you motivate yourself to workout even when you feel exhausted? What are your biggest food fears? What is your ultimate indulgent treat?
You really can't go wrong with PB and banana or apple...or alone! Yum!
